Founder and Chief LIFTER:

Strategy LIFT, LLC, is a strategic consulting services business focused on small and mid-size enterprises in healthcare, life sciences, biopharma, specialty pharma, vaccines, diagnostics, medical devices and physician practices.  He currently serves on the board of a private equity backed Allergy Practice and is an advisor to 4 healthcare startups with revenues ranging from $2 Million to $200 Million. Mr. Alderete has vast commercial experience from startup to restructurings in USA, Latin America, and Canada plus an extensive network of connections throughout Europe.

Prior to Strategy LIFT, Mr. Alderete served as North American President for ALK Abello, Inc., a publicly traded (ALK-B CPH) Danish life sciences company that is a leader in allergy immunotherapy. Under Mr. Alderete’s  leadership, ALK transformed from a Buy & Bill company into a prescription biopharmaceutical company with multiple approved Rx products. He established ALK’s US and Canadian pharma organization building sales, marketing, commercial operations, medical affairs, market access, trade & distribution, regulatory, legal, and compliance functions that supported the successful transition of an Rx allergy portfolio from Merck to ALK. Prior to his appointment as President in 2016, Mr. Alderete held roles of increasing responsibility from National Sales Director to VP of Sales & Marketing to SVP of Commercial Operations. Over Mr. Alderete’s tenure at ALK, he led the organization through 19 product launches, 5 acquisitions, and 3 divestitures.

Prior to ALK, Mr. Alderete worked for Idexx Labs, a publicly traded biotech company (IDXX - NASDAQ), responsible for their Latin American business unit.   He launched Idexx’s line of in-vitro diagnostic products into 10 Latin American countries establishing over 19 distributors and a direct sales team in Mexico and Brazil.  Earlier career experience included Cuno (a 3M company), and Sequa Corp, a fortune 500 conglomerate with medical devices. Mr. Alderete holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, an MBA in Finance from S. New Hampshire University and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
