Tom Derrico

Tom’s career in healthcare spans over 30 years in financial and executive leadership roles. He served as CFO at an innovative company providing fixed site primary and occupational healthcare and pharmacy services on a direct contract to major US companies including Goodyear, US Steel, GE and Kohler. Thereafter he became the Administrator of a large Allergy & Immunology group, a role he has enjoyed for over 25 years.

 

Since 2007 he has also served as a consultant to an international manufacturer of allergy products. Additionally, he has served as a consultant on an ad-hoc basis to a pharmaceutical company developing new therapies for the allergy specialty. Tom has been a featured speaker on allergy practice management topics at the American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology. Through an independent consulting group he formed in 2007 he has assisted medical practices throughout the US in improving operational, clinical and financial performance.

Tom’s skill set includes direct business contracting, third-party payer contracting, process improvement, workflow re-design, technology deployment and integration, development and implementation of care delivery models, and physician and provider engagement.
